How We Helped a Hunter With His Invention: The X-tractor Tool
Joe Collins (pictured) is the owner of Mountain Man Taxidermy in Charleston, WV. He is also an avid hunter. After years of deer hunting, Joe came up with an idea for “a less mess field dress tool.” He worked on his invention, and after developing many prototypes, came up with a final design for the X-tractor Tool in 2014.
He brought his design to us, and we worked with him on this custom plastic injection molding project to manufacture the X-tractor out of ABS plastic. He was extremely happy with the performance of the tool.
Joe markets the X-tractor Tool through various channels including his website and trade shows. In fact, he has a patent pending for the X-tractor Tool.
