Our online plastic injection molding quote system is an easy-to-use tool for getting quotes for your custom plastic injection molding, CNC machining, or urethane casting project. There’s no software to download – just upload your CAD model to the online portal and select your options like part quantity, material and finish. How to go from a CAD file to a finished product in 6 easy steps.

Step 1 – Get an instant quote
Click on the Get Instant Quote button and then enter in your email and create a password.

Step 2 – Add a part
First, select the desired manufacturing process.  Then select the type of material from the dropdown list. Next, click the Browse button to add a CAD file, or drag and drop it to the screen. Note:  You can upload multiple parts at a time by highlighting them from a list. Click the Submit button when your files have finished uploading. Enter in your contact information and agree to our terms and conditions on the next screen. Then click the View Quote button.

Step 3 – Review instant quote
You will receive a preliminary (unconfirmed) quote. Make any final adjustments (quantity, material, surfaces finish, etc). Then click the Submit to Confirm Quote button and your information will be sent to our engineers to verify that your part is capable of our manufacturing process and confirm the quote.

Step 4 – Grant quote
At this point, our engineers  confirm the quote or notify you if your part is not manufacturable by our process. Most quotes are confirmed or rejected within one business day. When your quote is confirmed, you are ready to grant the project. Once you click the Grant Project button, we immediately get to work on your project.

Step 5 – Tooling plan & Design For Manufacturability (DFM)
Once you grant the project, you will receive an email stating that you may now issue a purchase order (PO) for the project. When we receive your PO, we will officially launch the project, invoice you for a 50% down payment, and then proceed to the Design for Manufacturability (DFM) process. The first part is a proposed tooling plan for each part we are quoting. This includes details of the parting line location on the part, gate type and location, and ejector pin witness mark locations. The second part is the DFM, which may include potential issues that need to be acknowledged and discussed, and/or problem areas that need to be redesigned. At this point, you have the opportunity to review the DFM and approve the molding plan.

Step 6 – Mold manufacturing & confirm sample parts
Upon approval of the molding plan, your mold will be created and 5 sample parts from your mold will be sent to you for review. Once the sample parts are approved and the remaining 50% of the balance is paid, we will proceed to manufacture your production parts. Upon completion, your parts will be shipped to you.

At any time, you can check the status of your project, and communicate directly with your sales/project engineer and mold engineer, on our online project management system.
